QUE by the SEA in Seaside Heights

Seaside Heights is proud to present "Que by the Sea," the Fourth Annual Barbeque State Championship and Festival and also recognized as a Mid-Atlantic Barbecue Association State Championship in Seaside Heights, sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society, which will take place on Grant Avenue on September 21, 22, and 23, 2012. Festival times are Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The highlight of the event, the Barbeque State Championship will exemplify good, old-fashioned American fun. This competition will feature contestants from throughout the tri-state, who provide the best overall BBQ in four categories including chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket.

Large food vendors will be selling tasty barbeque specialties along Grant Avenue, artists and crafters, as well as retail vendors will contribute to the experience of the event. All day musical entertainment includes Seaside Heights' favorites, Little Bit of Heaven and Shorty Long to name a few. Beer will be available for purchase with proper ID.
